Parenting Classes

Parenting Classes have been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19

Tabor is a proud partner with the Health Federation of Philadelphia. Through the collaboration with their Enhanced Parenting Program,Tabor hosts weekly parenting classes that run on  14 week cycle. Classes are meant to provide support to at risk families while also fulfilling need court requirements.

Parenting Class Eligibility:

• Already in the DHS system or in the process of transitioning out
• Not in DHS system but are at risk for child abuse, neglect and or delinquency due to the effects of
  • Child(ren) with special needs
  • Post traumatic stress disorder
  • Homelessness
  • History of substance abuse
  • Poverty
  • Recent release from incarceration
