Careers

Here at Tabor, we strive to hire passionate, qualified and dedicated people whose skills align with our desire to serve the community. At the core of social services, is the desire to care for one of the most vulnerable populations: children. Tabor is one of the few agencies with dedicated programs for both children who have endured abuse, neglect, and young adults who are “aging out” of the child welfare system. This is why we carefully select candidates to join our team. Working at Tabor is more than just a job, it's a calling.

WHO WE ARE

Tabor Team

THE TABOR MISSION

Tabor Children’s Services is committed to providing culturally-competent, cost-effective quality services that ensure the safety of children, youth, adults and families; enhance the development of children and youth; secure the children’s right to permanent families; foster the integrity of the family; and promote the mental health and improved functioning of children and adults seeking stability and independence.

Tabor Children’s Services is a private nonprofit child welfare agency serving children, youth, young adults and families. Services for families are the least restrictive possible and link families with resources for support within their own community and culture.

Extended family members with safe homes are the best resource for children who cannot remain with their own parents. Preparation for youth independence begins at the onset of service delivery and includes planning the steps that will lead to emancipation from the child welfare system. Permanency and independence are key objectives for all service consumers.
