Visitation Coach

The Community Umbrella Agency (CUA) Visitation Coach is responsible for achieving the target goals of improving safety, permanency, and wellbeing of children, youth and families. As an essential component of the CUA case management team, the Visitation Coach will have specific objectives as established in the case plan, working with families at designated visitation sites as well as in their homes to support parents in establishing positive parent-child relationships, child safety, promoting healthy child growth and development and to support the emotional well-being of children and families. This position also works in collaboration with DHS child welfare staff and resources parents to ensure effective service delivery.

Regular travel required.

EDUCATION

· Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, but not limited to sociology, psychology, counseling, criminal justice, education, divinity or public health administration.

EXPERIENCE

· Two (2) year's or more experience working in social service, education, health care or related. Prior experience in child welfare a plus. New graduates with the appropriate educational background will be considered.
