SWAN Consultant
Tabor is looking for qualified individuals to provide SWAN services, such as Child Prep, Child Profiles, Family Profiles, Child Specific Recruitment, Family Matching, Finalization, Placement, and Post Permanency Services to children and families in Philadelphia County and surrounding counties.
The contracted SWAN Consultant works in a collaborative manner to build a partnering relationship with families and others in the home and community to assure that the needs of designated children and their families are respectfully and adequately addressed. In each case, the SWAN Consultant assures that services to children and families are individualized, strengths and needs based, culturally sensitive, responsive, and goal driven.
Contractor should have at least 1 year of supervised experience with children and/or families. Experience with SWAN units of service, childhood trauma, adoption and foster care are preferred. Contractor must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human services or related field, ACT 33/34 clearances, FBI finger printing, valid State Driver’s License and insured vehicle. A minimum of 1-2 years providing counseling or casework services to families is preferred. This position requires local travel and flexibility to work a nontraditional schedule in a high-demand work situation.
