Supervised Independent Living (SIL) Case Manager

The Supervised Independent Living (SIL) case manager provides support and directions for youth, and develops individualized life skills program for each youth. The SIL worker demonstrates and teaches the necessary skills for youth to live independently. The SIL worker locates appropriate community resources, establishes links, and advocates on behalf of the youth. They will implements service plans relative to emancipation and coordinate ancillary services with the youth. Additionally, the SIL worker acts as a resource to Tabor staff regarding adolescent/independent living issues. Hours are from 9am – 5pm Monday through Friday, but may vary according to organizational needs. Regular travel required.

 

EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field.

 

EXPERIENCE Two (2) years of experience working within child, youth and family service systems.
