Team Tabor Runs For Woods Services, Inc.

There are 8 million people in the US with intellectual disability who struggle with social isolation, education and inadequate health care. They are also more at risk of chronic disease, chronic pain and premature death. And, because they suffer from social isolation, they are at increased risk for depression, anxiety and loneliness. Woods Services not only provides these individuals with a home, but they also offer health care, education, job training, and recreational activities that help them lead full and rewarding lives.

The Run for Woods is a 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Walk to increase funding for its amazing programs, the dedicated staff who provide direct support, and the exceptional individuals that benefit. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Run will be held as a virtual event. It will stream on their website at runforwoods.org and social media. Together, while apart, we can run/walk in solidarity to directly impact the lives of the more than 650 individuals Woods serves daily. I encourage you to either register for the Run and/or make a donation.

Woods Services is a nonprofit in Langhorne, PA that gives individuals with special needs hope and helps them achieve greater independence.
