Tabor Services Inc., a non-profit organization servicing children, youth, and families in the surrounding Philadelphia area, Bucks County, and West Chester is seeking an enthusiastic individual with non-profit experience to join the HR team as the Human Resources Specialist.
The Human Resources Specialist plays a vital role in the Human Resources Business Unit (HRBU) supporting the Chief Human Resources Officer in a wide-range of Talent Management HR related activities. The HR Specialist will offer a business partner relationship with assigned operational units within Tabor Children Services (TCS) and Tabor Community Partners (TCP). The focus will be supporting on-going transformational and strategic needs with a primary focus on staffing and retention, on-off boarding, compliance, leaves, administration of employee requests, and handling employee HR related issues. The HR Specialist will maintain a level of knowledge and skills to perform successful full-cycle staffing and retention and talent management responsibilities and work according to HRBU protocols aligned with EEOC, DOL and funders regulations.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, with 2-3 years’ experience working in human resources specifically hands on experience working in all phases of the staffing and talent management with specific experience independently working with employees and management handling HR related issues. Must have basic knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws. Non-profit HR experience preferred.
