Taste of Tabor: A Deliciously Good Deed-Virtual Experience

Covid-19 has taken our communities, our country and our world by storm. Like many, our annual fundraising event Taste of Tabor: A Deliciously Good Deed, which was scheduled to occur in May 2020 had to be cancelled to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all.

We are excited, to announce that during the month of October we will be moving forward to provide you a Virtual Taste of Tabor. With 113 years of service to children, youth and families, Tabor has experience with adapting, meeting the challenges and working through tough situations while creating innovative solutions. This year and in this time, we continue with the same ambition.

Throughout this month long celebration, we will stick to our roots of Taste of Tabor and virtually bring together the culinary community while making a difference in the lives of local youth. There will be live cooking demonstration by local chefs, reflections of life at Tabor and of course, awesome raffles to bid on for our silent auction.

Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 for Tabor. Though we are on our way, your help could push us even closer. Achieving this would help ensure we can maintain the comprehensive range of programming that Tabor offers both children and youth who have endured abuse and neglect, as well as those aging out of the child welfare system. All who support this event will be directly contributing to our children and youth’s sense of self-worth while motivating them to lead positive and productive roles in their community.
