What is National Foster Care Month
National Foster Care Month is an initiative led and promoted by the Children’s Bureau. Each May, we take time to acknowledge foster parents, family members, volunteers, mentors, policymakers, child welfare professionals, and other members of the community who help children and youth in foster care find permanent homes and connections (Childwelfare.gov, 2021).
Tabor Children's Services remains dedicated to ensuring children are reside in safe homes where they are loved and cared for. During this Foster Care awareness month, we are celebrating those families that take on the challenge of being a foster parent and ensuring the needs of children are met.

How can you help?
By purchasing a bag or 2, or 3, and possibly 4 of the delicious Double Good Gourmet Popcorn, you will be helping to ensure children and youth continue to receive loving care in loving homes. Each bag of popcorn you purchase equals a smiling face or 2 or 3 and possibly 4. 50% of all proceeds come straight to Tabor to help keep children and youth safe.
