Educational Liaison

The Educational Liaison (EL) develops and implements various learning activities to improve life skill and educational outcomes for youth who are referred for Independent Living Services through Chester County Children Youth and Families (CYF) and/or the Juvenile Probation Office. The Education Liaison coordinates a variety of functions supporting youth including teaching, implementing, and attending meetings and special events such as Youth Advisory Board (YAB), workshops, and college tours, conducting home and community visits with youth as needed.

The EL is expected to work a flexible schedule during the week as classes, workshops and YABs can occur in the late afternoon/early evening. Regular travel is required.

Education

· Bachelor of Social Work, Education or related field.

 

Experience

· One (1) year work experience in the delivery of social service programming targeting youth and/or young adults and/or education. Relevant coursework, internship, or related experience will be considered.

 

REGULAR TRAVEL IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Hours may vary based on job functions and responsibilities.
