Director of Business Development
The Director of Business Development (DBD) will work closely with Tabor's CEO collaborating with other members of the executive team and senior leadership across the organization to grow existing business and identify new business lines and enhancements. The DBD must have the skills, knowledge and abilities to conduct market research and analysis, identify key trends and opportunities, and set strategic goals and objectives in order to identify business growth opportunities for Tabor's business and business units. The DBD must have hands-on grant writing experience going after State, local and/or federal business opportunities. The DBD must be comfortable building and sustaining on-going positive relationships with funders and payers. The position is also responsible for creating and communicating a clear vision for the organization’s future growth and success.
This position works in emergency situations as required. The weekly schedule is Monday – Friday that may vary according to departmental needs.
Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, health care, human services, education, public Administration, or related field. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience:
· Nonprofit management: 5 years (Preferred)
· Grant writing: 2 years (Preferred)
