Karen Wilkins

Karen Wilkins has over 25 years’ Human Resources experience working in both corporate and non-profit industries.  She began her career as a Human Resources Generalist for an engineering defense manufacturing organization and since then expanded her HR experiences in the fields of public accounting, community behavior health, social services, and child welfare.  Since her start at Tabor in 2009, Karen has served in human resources in the roles of HR Manager, Director and currently Chief Human Resources Office.  Over the span of 10 years, Ms. Wilkins has redefined HR’s purpose and restructured the HR model from providing not only day-to-day administration and operation services, but to a Human Resource Business Unit that provides transformational activities to meet Tabor’s continuously evolving strategic business goals and objectives.

 Karen received a BSW from West Chester University, and later obtained a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from DeVry’s, Keller School of Management. She also obtained a Human Resources Management Certification from Villanova University and as a HR professional holds both a SHRM-CP and PHR license.
