The Adolescent Initiative Program Educational Youth Case Manager (AIP Board Extension)

Are you a teacher, youth advocate, or mentor willing to work in the Bucks County area that is looking to grow your career in the Human Services field? Tabor Services is looking for you! As the AIP Case Manager (Board Extension) Specialist, you will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of services provided to foster youth between the ages of 18 to 23. This position requires but is not limited to, limited transporting of the youth throughout the Bucks County area, conducting routine home visits and attending court hearings as needed.

The work schedule will be from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday with some evening hours according to departmental needs. A flexible schedule is required!

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field.

EXPERIENCE

1 -2 years of experience working within child, youth and family service systems. Entry level will be considered with the correct educational background.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to provide accurate and timely reports and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of community resources.
  • Strong oral and communication skills.
  • Ability to teach life skills and/or soft skills to youth if needed.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid PA driver’s license with ability to use own vehicle.
  • Clean driving history.
  • Must be free from any communicable/infectious diseases.
  • Provide a valid PA child abuse clearance, FBI check and Criminal Background Check.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
